The Amateur Shootout is on! Get signed up to compete and ride the Grandaddy of all race tracks…. “Hangtown”. We are the final round of competition for the Northern California Amateur Shootout! Brapppp!

TRACKSIDE CAMPING FOR RACERS

If you are going to race this weekend be aware there is a new premium / trackside camping area for Amateur racers.  This area is new this year to make racing easier to get in and out of the track.  This area has PA’s set up so racers can hear the announcers when they call you to the track.

FAQ’S For The Final Round At Hangtown

• NOTE: Tuesday, May 12, On-line Preregistration closes at 5:00 PM sharp!

Wednesday, May 13, Practice from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, fee $30 per Rider, no gate fee.

Race Registration opens from 12 noon to 5 PM on Wednesday.

Entry not needed for Wednesday Practice Session, Come and ride the infamous “Hangtown” Track!

Gate Fees, May 14-15, 2020:
Thursday and Friday, two-day wrist bands, Youth $ 15, Adult $25
Friday only, one-day wrist bands: Youth $10, Adult $20
Thursday, May 16, Practice starts at 7:00 am, then racing from 8:30 am to 2 pm Friday, May 17, Practice starts at 7:00 am, then racing from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

NEW! Update! Rider’s will ride one moto per class on Thursday, May 14, and then one extended moto per class on Friday, May 15. This will allow riders to run more classes without conflicts and provide longer moto’s on Friday.

Racing schedule:
Thursday, May 14; Moto One for all classes
Registration opens at 6:00 am
Practice Starts at 7:00 am
Opening Ceremony and Racing Starts at 8:30 am
MX National Press and Pro-Ride: 2-5 PM
Pit Party at the Palladio in Folsom: 6:00 PM
Friday, May 15, Moto Two for all classes
Practice Starts at 7:00 am
Opening Ceremony and Racing starts at 8:30 am
Special Class for 2020, Experience a taste of the past!
500cc Open Two-Stroke Class will run if we have enough entries to make a class Run any 351cc to open two-stroke, drum or disc brake, air or water cooled. Class intended for A and B level riders, Vet, Ex-pro, etc.

Race Fees:

Race Entry Fee, Preregistration online: $50 per class, Pro-Am/Pro Sport Class $100

Race Entry Fee at Track: $65 per class, Pro-Am/Pro Sport Class $125

AMA Membership Required, you can purchase your AMA Membership at the track or online if you do not have one.

Note: Get your registration in early to avoid the rush at the track on Race Day! Save Money! Electric MX Bikes are welcome at Hangtown, you can run in a non-displacement class, be green,

be cool, and be fast at Hangtown!

125cc All Star Qualifier, 2 qualifier moto’s on Friday, May 15
Top 15 from each qualifier moto will advance to Saturdays final
